Julia Giolzetti
Youth Programs
Julia Giolzetti is an actor and theatre maker, back in California after over a decade working in New York City. As a teaching artist Julia has worked with thousands of children here in San Diego, in NYC, and abroad. During the COVID pandemic, Julia created Sofa Shakespeare, a global online performance project where anyone could contribute. She is a proud mom of 2 and a passionate advocate for performing arts education.

Nick Ritz Daugherty
Shakespeare Workshops
Nick is in his second year of training at the Lir Academy, Trinity College Dublin for his Bachelor’s in Acting.
San Diego acting credits include The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Backyard Renaissance), and 2023 Craig Noel Outstanding Production nominees Public Enemy (New Fortune) and The Ferryman (NVA).

Jacquelyn Ritz
Acting for Professionals
Jacquelyn has been a director, an acting coach, a fight director, a teacher, and mostly an actor for many years where she’s worked at theatres including La Jolla Playhouse, North Coast Repertory, The Kennedy Center, Goodman Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory, Asolo Center for the Arts, Colorado Shakespeare and many more ~ working with and learning from world famous Tony Award winning directors including Rachel Chavkin and Harold Prince. www.JacquelynRitzBiz.com

Katelyn Slater
Shakespeare for Adults
Katelyn grew up performing "Shakespeare in the Park" in MN throughout high school, and was drawn to the depth of his writing and characters. During her acting emphasis at university, her favorite courses were on acting Shakespeare; she loved learning about his passion for words and the invitation for actors to allow those words to live fully. Shakespeare involves working with actors to fully embody this heightened language, which engages their entire being
